 Webmail & Antispam
Solution This article applies to windows based hosting plans.

Webmail allows you to access your e-mail account over the web using a web browser and it also enables you to send and receive e-mail with attachments.

To check your e-mail now using webmail goto http://mail.webhost.ie/ or http://mail.mydomain.com/

By default all spam messages will be marked with "(SPAM)" in the subject line and will download with your normal e-mail.

You can then create a message rule in your e-mail client to place all that marked mail into a specified folder called "junk" or "spam".

It is also possible to enable "Use Spam Folder" mode where all spam e-mail goes into a folder in webmail instead of downloading into your e-mail client.

You can then check your "Spam" folder by logging into webmail. If using IMAP the spam will appear in a "Spam" folder.

The "Spam Folder" mode can be configured using the webmail system or the mail server control panel.

If using "Spam Folder" mode we only keep the latest 7 days of spam on our mail server so make sure to check your "Spam" folder for each e-mail account to make sure there is no genuine mail been marked as spam. If you find the anti spam system catching e-mail from a company that you wish to get messages from then you can whitelist that sender e-mail address using our webmail system when viewing the message itself.

It is also possible to disable Anti Spam services access fully and adjust how sensitive the anti spam system is using the webmail interface.
