How To Delete Bad Messages From The Mail Server
Solution This document relates to Windows based hosting plans.

It is possible for a badly formed message to stop you from downloading mail from the mail server.

When you have a problem like this take a note of the message number that your mail program gets stuck on and login to your mail server control panel.

Access the correct mail server control panel login URL.
Its either http://mail.mydomain.com/accounts or http://www.mydomain.com:32000

You will require your login username or e-mail address and password.

Click on "Login" and a list of your e-mail accounts will appear.

Click on the "mailbox" link to the right of your username@domain.com account.

A new window will appear and you will get a list of the messages in your mailbox.

To view a message click on the subject. ( to go back to the listing click on the "Back" button in your browser )

Once you know the bad message ( you will have a good idea which message is causing the problem by looking at how many messages download ok and the number that outlook stops downloading on ) please select it by clicking on the checkbox beside the message.

You can select multiple messages by selecting the checkbox beside the message.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on "Delete Message".

This will be very handy in the future to delete these type of malformed spam messages.
